Albert (Bert) joined us in 1989. He is from the U.K. and is a qualified Advanced Automotive Engineer (AAE). He has worked extensively throughout Africa and the Middle East in various senior managerial positions in the Automotive Industry. He is married with one daughter, and his interests include computers, music, and soccer.

Jolly Nkhonjera – Financial Director. Blantyre Tel 09 827 183

Jolly started with our company in 1996 and is a University Graduate who has an extensive financial background both in commerce and our industry. He holds internationally recognised Dip, B.S. B.com, and FCCA qualifications. Jolly originates from Rumphi in the Northern Region of Malawi. He is married to Lennie and has three young children.

Peter Khamisa – Vehicle Sales Director. Tel 08 827 645

Peter is the longest serving employee on our management team. Peter is well known and respected throughout the country. Peter graduated from the Cranfield School of Management UK and joined us in 1976. Peter’s passion is soccer, he is an ex Chairman of the Football Association, and a former Malawi International Goalkeeper.

Mark joined us in 1999. Mark was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He has been involved in the Aftersales industry for over 29 years, with both retail & manufacturing factory experience in the automotive parts & service industry. Mark was appointed as Regional Manager for Central & Northern Malawi in 2004 and was originally employed as the National Parts Manager for CFAO Malawi.

Susan Mennell – National Parts & Systems Manager. Tel 09 960 316

Sue originates from Zimbabwe, She joined us in 1991 and is responsible for all Aftersales Parts importation and sales. She was responsible for the set up of all our computer mainframe and software operations, and looks after the Sales and Aftersales systems used in the company. Sue is also directly responsible for our customer driven ‘Plan Clio” implementation.

David Woods - National Service Manager.

Dave started with CFAO Malawi in September 2007. He had previously been the Technical Training Manager for Ford Motor Company in South Africa. Dave brings with him a wealth of automotive knowledge which is to the benefit of ourselves and customers. He has a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving of customer concerns. Dave is married to Val and they have one son.

David Blair - Country Manager, Heavy Commercial. Tel No 09 985 032

David originates from the UK and joined CFAO in October 2007, and is based in our Lilongwe operations. He has an extensive background in both automotive and heavy commercial sales, service, and parts operations, and has many years of African motor experience behind him. David is married to Sarah and they have two children.

Green Mzembe - Lilongwe Branch Manager, Tel 08 841 313

Green comes from Rhumpi in the Northern Region of Malawi. Green started with our Company in 1974 and was promoted to our management training programme in 1976. He has held various managerial positions in our organisation and was the Branch Manager in Mzuzu from 1986 to 2005. Green is married to Linley and they have seven children.

Aubrey Nkata - Nissan National Sales Manager Blantyre Tel 09 985 012

Aubrey joined us in 2004 initially based in our Lilongwe branch as our National Fleet Sales Manager. Aubrey was transferred to head office in Blantyre in 2006. Aubrey has a long history of automotive experience and brings with him a professionalism which is readily apparent to both ourselves and our customers. Aubrey has one son and one daughter.

Burnett Evans - Ford National Sales Manager, Blantyre. Tel 09 985 024

Burnett joined our company in 1997. Born here in Blantyre, and educated in Zimbabwe, Burnett has a long sales history and strong background in vehicle & tyre sales. He has held various senior management positions within the Malawi Motor Industry, covering both passenger vehicles and trucks. Burnett has two daughters Bernice and Riah.

Cathy Franzel - CFAO Brand Manager Blantyre. Tel 09 830 469

Cathy was educated in Malawi at St Andrews International High School. Cathy joined our organisation in 2005, and looks after all our promotion and advertising campaigns. She has a background of working in customer relations. Cathy was designated as our Brand Manager in 2006. She is married and has one son, Marcus.

Ahab Kafansiyanji - Branch Manager Mzuzu. Tel 09 985 019

Ahab is the Branch Manager of our Mzuzu operations. Previously he had been our Branch Manager in Lilongwe. Ahab has a mechanical engineering background and a history of Technical Training and sales and general management. Ahab is married to Jayne and they have a boy aged two years old. Ahab has been with us since 1990.

Lucy originates from Kasungu in the Central Region of Malawi. She has a qualified secretarial background and lived and worked in the United States for many years. Lucy has been trained to ensure that complete customer satisfaction is obtained from our company. She has been with us since 1991. Lucy is married and has four children.
